Control and elimination of Japanese knotweed

Japanese Knotweed Control

Japanese knotweed removal

Newman Landscapes offers Japanese knotweed treatment and Japanese knotweed removal to customers throughout the Midlands, including Derby, Telford, Coventry and beyond.

We take three key steps to help control your Japanese knotweed. These are:

  • Fencing off and quarantining affected areas
  • Providing site management plans
  • Applying the correct treatment methods depending on the circumstances

One of the most common methods of treating Japanese knotweed is a steam injection treatment system using a systemic translocated herbicide that kills the plant at the top, rhizome and root. This method is highly effective but won’t damage nearby plants.

Japanese knotweed damage

As one of the fastest-growing invasive species in the UK, Japanese knotweed can cause severe house and building damage if not managed properly. It is your responsibility to prevent Japanese knotweed spreading to neighbouring gardens/sites. Failure to do so can result in civil prosecution.

Choose Newman Landscapes to manage or remove hazardous Japanese knotweed. We have over 15 years’ experience and have worked with customers from the public and private sectors.

No matter the size of your grounds or the scale of your knotweed, we will complete the job to a high professional standard. You’ll be assigned a project manager to oversee the project and keep you updated throughout the process.

Newman Landscapes are Japanese knotweed specialists you can trust. Contact our team today to find out how we can help you.
