David Newman founded Newman Landscapes Ltd in 2007 after being involved in the horticultural industry since leaving school in 1998.
From a young age David always had a keen interest in horticulture. David could often be found in the garden creating spaces to attract wildlife or on the allotment. One of David’s earliest projects was the creation of wildlife area with a pond at his school for which he received a Special Commendation from the local MP.
After leaving school David attended the highly acclaimed Moreton Morrell College in Warwickshire, where he studied all aspects of the Horticulture Industry and sharpened his skills. As a student David was involved in a lot of prestigious projects including designing award-winning gardens for BBC Gardeners World Live at the NEC and The Chelsea Flower Show.
Since launching Newman Landscapes Ltd, David has not stood still. Besides maintaining a successful business, David has also designed sensory gardens and wildlife gardens for local schools. Recently, David designed a Dementia Garden for a Local Nursing Home to the delight of the staff and residents. David was also the proud recipient of a Silver Medal from the Royal Horticultural Society for his show garden at Gardeners World Live at the NEC in 2014.
