Orbit Group

Earlier this year, Newman Landscapes completed an ambitious project with the Orbit Group, one of the foremost housing groups in the UK, expanding its services to cover a vast network of over 190 sites. 

Following detailed planning and discussions, the team initiated the project in November 2023, aiming to enhance the green spaces across these sites.

The project included a comprehensive grounds maintenance contract, encompassing a variety of services relating to arboriculture, grounds maintenance, hard & soft landscaping, and winter gritting works, as detailed within the specification, including:

• Performing robust site risk assessments for risk mitigation, method statement production and planning, for client approval.
• Ensuring safe methods of working to protect the health and safety of our employees, employees of the customer, tenants, public and all other neighbours/stakeholders affected by our work.
• Ensuring the correct disposal of all litter, leaves and storm debris at licensed disposal/recycling sites at our own cost.
• Ensuring only specified/approved materials and chemicals are used.

This partnership not only showcased our adaptability and growth but also cemented our reputation as a provider of professional, environmentally conscious landscape services, with an eye towards future developments like transitioning to an all-electric fleet by 2027.
